Message from Founder
Meet Sarit Arbell
My journey with mosaic began in March 2020, when the world came to a standstill during COVID. Like so many others, I was searching for a creative outlet, and I found myself learning how to mosaic—on Zoom.
Living in Maryland, USA, I quickly realized that finding in-person mosaic classes wasn’t easy. Determined to keep learning, I started traveling—flying across the U.S. and even internationally—to attend workshops. But along the way, I ran into several challenges.
First, finding information about mosaic workshops was surprisingly difficult. It felt like a hidden world, with no central place to discover opportunities. Second, as I met incredible artists in my travels, I noticed something frustrating—there was no easy way for them to share their work. Few mosaic artists had websites, and many of those that did were outdated or hard to find.
It struck me as ironic that artists who spend their time carefully connecting thousands of tiny pieces had no real way to connect with each other. That’s when I knew something had to change.
I decided to create a solution—a website that brings mosaic artists of all levels together. A space that acts as a mosaic of love and connection, empowering us as individuals and strengthening our community.
